Question about 1986 Chevrolet Camaro
Every morning i go to start it and it just wont stay running unless i put my foot into it. only has this problem when engine is cold. if i don't put my foot on the gas then the car idles like it has a multi miss then stalls. at this point i have to keep trying to start it for 2 to 5 minutes just to get it back on. also smell alot of fuel coming out of my exhaust.
Thanks for the accurate description....makes it easier to diagnose . One of two things it is....either a fuel pump OVER-working....highly unlikely...or your fuel pressure regulator.......sounds like you pressure reg tho with what you described......located on top of the motor on the fuel rail...
