not sure exactly where the interior light relay is located or what it is called i.e. interior, drl, dome, but it is in the door switch relay because int. lights work with switch just not doors.

Check your fuse/relay box to see if these are separately fused or controlled by a separate relay. The cover for your box may have a layout diagram showing the location of the different fuses and relays.

1997 Chevy Suburban. I closed the door on the seat belt on my Chevy Suburban. Now the door won't open and the seat belt appears to be caught on the door latch mechanism. How to open?

Question moved from Seat (Spanish Car maker) to Chevy.

Brute Force. Get in through the passenger side and roll down the window. Have a friend hold the door latch open. Lay across the front seats and push with your feet. Have another friend take video and be famous when it unlatches and your friend goes flying. :>D

Inspect the seat belt material for damage and replace if necessary.

Windows wont roll down

I suspecft this is a security programming situation. I have something similar going on with my '95. I have to get an owners manual to find the sequences. I stumbled into this by manually locking the front door and turning on the key with the door open.
re: the dash lights. I find if I have the interior light dimmer all the way to the right it locks out some things but moving it back to the middle puts it back in operational mode. aside from the flashing, non playing stero. At least I can drive it and powerlock the doors IF the doors are closed.
