You will need a qualified mechanic to look at this engine. If your timing belt snapped there is a very good chance the engine is junk. The only real way to find out is to take the cylinder head off. That way you can check the piston crowns and valves for damage. The fuel blowing back through the throttle can be caused by a valve issue from the belt breaking.
not many other reasons why it would run rough if serviced
think its a 2.4 EFI motor timing belt
how many kms has this one done
wont be the crank angle sensor or ecu because its running
any engine light on
if it is on.... there will be fault codes stored to read
check over
maybe 02 sensors
fuel filter change or fuel pump problem
coil packs and plugs
u can clean the throttle body
u can check the air filter
If the air stops blowing from the vents, the problem is with the blower motor. If it doesn't come on, try slapping the motor with your hand. If it starts when slapped, replace the motor.
Hello. Not necessarily. There are many possible causes of it not starting. Begin by changing the fuel filter. If that doesn't help, change the air filter. Finally try some starter fluid sprayed into the air intake when the cover is off of the air filter.
What or how does it sound like a broken timing belt? Is the engine knocking? If the belt is not broken, it might have slipped and the timing may now be off, enough to cause the sounds you're hearing.
Put a new belt on it and spray the condenser coil in front of the radiator with a hose when it gets up to temp or the sound starts and see if it stops. Thats what I did today. Flapping/clacking stops for about 10 minutes until thing get hot again.A/C blowing cold air the entire time.
