It's not that hard to replace the passenger side mirror. You will be able to do it yourself. I will tell you how. Remove the screw holding the molding to the base of the mirror and remove the molding. Remove the screws and detach the mirror. (if it is electric mirror just unplug the electrical connector. Installation is the reverse of removal. Hope this will help you.

You need to remove the internal door panel, then you can see the screw to remove the side mirror. Sometime you need to remove the glass before you can reach the screw.

You will need to remove the door panel from the inside of the door. Then you can see the mounting points for the mirror and can remove the retaining nuts to the mirror.

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. Then pull off the cover adjacent to the mirror and remove the bolts holding the mirror on. Once the mirror's off, you should see the harness / plug

you need to remove the trim pannel parallel to the mirror on the inside of the vehicle, normally triangle shaped, from there there will be 3-4 nuts or bolts you need to remove, once that is done the mirror will be free to be removed.

Your going to have to remove the inside door panel to get to the three bolts that hold the out side mirror assembly. Once you have the door panel off you'll see the three bolts that hold the mirror assembly, just un-bolt and un-clip the wire harness to the electric/heated mirror. To install the new mirror assembly, just do everything in reveres. Go to Auto Zone and by extra door panel clips, there is a good chance of breaking some of the retainer clips and Auto Zone will have the step by step instructions to replacing the mirror assembly and the removal to the door panel. you need to remove door panel to unplug miroor connection

no the door pannel does not need to come off but there is a triangle shaped plastic trim pannel above the door pannel that needs to be removed to access the mounting bolts.

had to install a driver side non folding mirror, fairly simply to say the least. There's a cover on the interior of the door, near the window, remove the cover, remove the 3 screws, need i believe a 10mm socket. If a power window, unhook the circuit. Replace new mirror.
