I have a 1996 chevy k1500 fuel pump would loose its prime overnite. I replaced the pump and am getting fuel all the way to the throttle body but truck wont start. if i add fuel directrly in throttle body will crank right up. I am assuming it is the injector causing the problem but wanted a second opinion

Check ground at fuel pump connection. If ground is bad check ground strap at the back of the engine block.

Fuel pumps do not "lose prime" ck fuel pressure should be 58-62 psi. if noit, its not going to start. o fits low, replace the pump and filter.

My 1996 Chevy Tahoe wont start unless you put gas into the throttle body

Will it continue to run aftre you manually prime it? If so, you are lossing fuel pressure over time which may indicate a leak in a line and or a faulty fuel pump. (low pressure) Could also be a restriction in fuel line (filter) Frozen water in the line is not unheard of in cold climates.

I have a 4.3 chevy vortec when i prime it it will run but thats it i bought a new fuel pump and fuel fitter what esle can i try

I would check to see if you are getting power to the fuel pump. I would check the fuel pump fuse and relay if you aren't getting power to the pump. You may have got a defective fuel pump.

I have a 1998 chevy astro V6 over 200000 miles

The fuel pump might be working but it is not priming. When you turn on the vehicle, the pump sends fuel under pressure to the injectors, to "prime" or have fuel present to be able to start engine. Without it there will no fuel available to start it. You are manually priming the engine, and the fuel pump is taking over from there. Check connections to fuel pump and replace if necessary. It is not an inexpensive repair

Truck runs for two seconds an shut down i changed fuel pump an filter and it still shuts down but it only stay running when i put gas down in the throttle body i had a 1996 chevy 1500 i was wondering can...

No, the fuel regulator from a 96 will not fit a 98. The 98 is a vortec and i believe the 96 is TBI. You are on the right track though, but the fuel regulator is attached to the fuel injector spider and is one unit inside the upper intake. It is relative easy to replace just takes some time.
