1995 Dodge Caravan 3.0 No voltage to clutch

Replaced with new compressor & clutch but get no voltage to clutch. How to trace circuit?

Do you have freon in it yet,it will not have voltage untill freon in it because of the low preasure switch, because it trying to protect your compressor,even if you have some it may not be enough,I hope this helps you

You should have a high pressure switch and a low pressure switch on the system, both should be mounted in a line or on the compressor itself. If you unplug them and jump them with paper clips for a few seconds to see if the compressor comes on. If it does then either the switch is bad or the system is low on charge. Also check the A/C fuse and relay under the hood.

2001 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN 3.3; AC DOES NOT WORK. AC COMPRESSOR REPLACE 3 TIMES, BUT IT BUILDS UP TOO MUCH PRESSURE, RELEASES THRU THE BACK OF COMPRESSOR.
Then there was no reason to replace the compressor
unless it broke down & spread debris into the system
Just poor or no diagnosing of the issue
You have high side pressures that caused the valve to release
Need to study why it happens & where the system blockage is
Did the first compressor burn up & trash the system?
If so then any competant shop know all the componets have
to come out & be flushed or maybe replaced
I would say you have a $1500 job just for starters to redo the
job correctly now 3 compressors went on for no reason

Ac problem no voltage to ac clutch on dodge caravan 1999 3.3 eng
If you do not have enough refrigerant in the system. The low pressure switch will prevent the compressor from engaging to avoid damage.

Check your pressure.

I don't recommend this, but you may need to jump your low pressure switch to get the compressor going to add more refrigerant to the system. But if your low on charge, it may be "best to take it to a shop to have them fill the system".

2001 dodge stratus clutch wont turn on
i presume it was recharged by a certified hvac tech, then take it back that should still be under warranty,otherwise check your a/c relay hvac /fan fuse control circuit,with car engine turned off switch on ignition,but dont start,you should hear a click from the clutch magnet on the compressor,and if possible check for 12volts d.c. at clutch wires lack of voltage wont let comp operate,then it needs to be diagnosed from clutch back thru to fuse/relay panel

Cooling fans must work with a/c on.With a/c turned on check voltage at fan motor plug.If no voltage have to back trace to fuse for fans or relay's,but I have replaced a few fan module's for this problem.

AC clutch slipping on 2000 dodge caravan . How can I resolve this
If the a/c clutch is slipping it will need to be replaced. If it is slipping because the compressor is siezed it will need a new compressor, clutch, expansion valve, orings, system flush, perhaps a new condenser or more. However, Dodge has a recall for the compressors failing. Call your local Dodge dealer and ask about that recall. If it applies it should be free.

Air conditioner inop
First suggestion is the clutch not engaging. Check voltage at clutch plug and confirm power source, if there is power there then clutch would work unless it has failed.

1999 dodge caravan a/c
did you turn the compressor clutch plate manually for 20 turns?, to displace the oil that is in the compressor's valve as it is new and have some oil in the valves which is very hard to turn at high speed.

you can try to manually turn the compressor plate in the reverse direction, you could un lock it and hopefully not a amjor problem occurs..
