Turn Signal Fuse or switch replacement? '93 buick lesabre?

How do I determine whether its the turn signal switch or a fuse that needs replacing on my 1993 Buick LeSabre?

The bulbs light up in emergency flasher mode, but not flash on either side.
*Note: The driver side housings for the headlights & side turn signals are not installed at the moment. Is this a factor for the contacts? Should I do that first? (Stuff was all broken out in an accident)

I've replaced all bulbs but want to make sure all is working before I put back in the housings. I just don't know if its a fuse or a switch and how to determine which it is.

Yes all the wiring needs to be complete. Then all the bulbs must be inserted into sockets. left side marker right side front turn back turn reverse lights brake light everything. Then make sure they all work. The problem could even be a bulb thats on the fritz ready to blow but still on and dim little light. if that's all fine then it's probably your flasher. There are 2 flashers one for turn and one for hazards but I think they are the same but still separate. located under dash on either side of the steering wheel. The flasher closest to the door is up in there pretty far it's size is about like a 2 liter cap and it's silver. good luck

The hazard back lights wont quit blinking when car is running even when i pull the fuse on a 2002 buick regal

What fuse are you pulling ?

Hazard Lamps
The hazard warning switch is part of the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch receives battery voltage at all times through the HAZARD SWITCH Fuse. When the hazard switch is placed in the HAZARD position, battery voltage is applied to the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher. The hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher sends a turn signal flasher signal to the turn signal switch. The turn signal switch provides all of the turn lamps and turn indicators with the turn signal flasher signal, simultaneously flashing them on and off.

Turn Signal Lamps
The front turn signal lamps are made up of the front park/turn signal lamps and rear turn signal lamps. The front turn signal lamps flash with the rear turn signal lamps when a turn is initiated using the turn signal/multifunction lever. The turn signals will operate only with the ignition switch in the RUN position and will not operate during hazard flasher operation.
When the ignition is turned to the RUN position, battery voltage is supplied to the TURN SIGNAL Fuse. Battery voltage is then applied through the turn signal fuse circuit to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch is placed in the LH or RH position, voltage is supplied to the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher. The hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher supplies a turn signal flasher signal to the turn signal switch. With the turn signal switch in the LH or RH position the corresponding turn signal indicator, rear turn signal, and front turn signal receive the turn signal switch signal and will flash. The front turn signals receive the turn signal switch signal from the turn signal switch via the BCM. The turn lamps are permanently grounded.

Replace the turn signal switch. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

1999 buick lesabre my right signal doesnt blink it stays solid , my left turn signal blinks fine i have to manually blink the right side every turn , i put the hazard lights on and the front left and right...

The easiest thing for you to do would be to replace the bulbs that are on that circuit. You should have one or two bulbs with a double filament, one for the brake and turn signal and one for the tail light.
If that does not fix the problem, someone will need to check the circuit for power from the turn signal switch. It takes all of the lights on one side to make the turn signal flash.

1990 buick lesabre turn signals don't work, hazard flashers work, bulbs are ok, running lights & brake lights work, just installed a new turn signal assembly, thought that would fix the problem, it did...

the turn signal flasher is a small canister-shaped or rectangular unit located under the dash, either in a clip adjacent to the steering column or in the convenience center which is located located under the right side of the dashboard and houses relays and other components. The fuse.faulty flasher unit a broken switch or a loose or open wire. We have eliminated the switch, I would check all fuses inside and out, you can replace the flasher with the hazard flasher as if I remember correctly they are the same shape and size, then it is just a matter with a tester light running it from the column to the sockets and finding the break. Hope this helps Tim

No turn signals

Have you tried replacing the flasher? They're typically round, and with the fuses under/in the dash. They probably cost 10-15 bucks, usually available at your local autoparts store.
