How do i replace the radiaor? on this 2005 Hyundai do i remove the intake cover, then the cooling fan, the the motor mount? what?

  • Mel Williams Aug 11, 2009

That's just it i don't know. I just looked at it for the first time last week for a friend i pressure tested the cooling system and found the cause of the laek was from the petcock itself. However though, the petcock is stripped and turns and isn't sealed or sealing the coolant in anymore. So with that being the case i visually looke after removing the inspection plate to exposed the lower half of the radiator and seen where it rested in ti's housing, that its between the motor and transmission mount.

    A/cCblower fan motor resistor

Don't know the age of your car/truck but the older modles had the resistors under the hood in the intake air line, after the blower fan, of the A/C air intake. They looked like springs but made from heavy wire. The ait moving across them kept them cool. Two screws held them in to place with the plug attaching from wiring under the hood. Hope that helps.
