This is an after market radio so you might want to go back to square on and remove the radio. Put everything back and see if the issue is still there. If not you could have a bad radio that is cross circuit. .

SOURCE: Installed new CD deck in 07 Corolla, may have shorted something

first check the illumation fuse which to toyota its the panel fuse, check if it is blown. if not take the aftermarket wire harness u wired in with the radio harness and disconnect the orange wire (illumation wire) and see if u have lights again. sometimes the aftermarket orange wire won't work with toyota vehicles. good luck

SOURCE: Tail lights and dash lights not working, due to headlight install

I have the same problem in an 88 Accord. I found that if I slowly turn the light switch, there is a sweet spot in between the the parking light and headlight on position (around halfway in between or so.) where all will work. The problem is , when I might a right turn signal, it turns the dash and brake lights out again and I have to refind that sweet spot. Not very safe, so we don't drive that car at night.
I was told by a mechanic that the issue is a relay or switching mechanism located in the steering column.

My S10 blazer dash lights go out after I start it and I hit a bump or something. But get power to everything else. Turn the key to start it and no dash lights, no crank, and can't start now.

Hi,

Please double check that your dashboard lights are not just dim when the headlights are not on. usually, dash lights get brighter when this happens. Please double check that you don't have a week battery as well. You might need to get the lights within the dashboard replaced.

Thank you.

NEED WIRING DIAGRAM FOR 1996 S10 BLAZER. DASH SPEAKERS WORK, BUT ALL DOOR SPEAKERS HAVE QUIT.

Not practical to add the wiring diagrams to questions at this site (there are a lot of them and are hard to view when posted). Your best bet is to use Alldatadiy.com.

2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE dash back lights quit working I installed an aftermarket radio. Wiring OK no blown fuses.Every thing else works fine plugged factory radio back in lights still did not work.

check that dimmer is turned up ---and check connections around where radio work was done for damaged disconnected line connector also check dash fuses not just fuses from radio --or your radio may not be compatible to your dimmer circuit -most oem radios display are Incorporated with dash functions and after market ones are not

99 honda accord no dash or tail lights

look for a "small light" fuse in the fuse box under your hood.
You probably shorted something while installing the radio. If it continues to blow the fuse, you need to pull the radio out and check your wiring.

Need manual for chevy s10 blazer 1991 4wd. My

You may contact a GM dealer for assitance in getting a manual for that year and model.
I would also recommend getting a good repair manual for that vehicle. The savings for one repair will more than offset the price of the repair book. I use manuals produced by Haynes which can be found in most auto supply stores like Advanced Automotive or Auto Zone.

New radio installed - now dash lights don't work

Most factory stereos are wired to the dash dimmer switch. Usually if the dash lights go out after an after market stereo installation, it is because the wire that originally went to the factory stereo is not used for after market stereos. Double check the fuses and ensure the wire that controlled the lights on the factory stereo is not grounding out on something.
