SOURCE: how do you reset the anti theft system
Try disconnecting your battery cables then wait about 10 minutes. The computer should reset itself. Reconnect the wires to the battery. It is normal for the theft light to blink about every 5 seconds when the ignition key is out or in the off position. This means the system is armed and working properly. Hope this helps. God bless!

The system reset any time the correct ignition key is turned to the run position or the door is locked and unlocked with the key, there is a sensor on the lock cylinder. If this is what you have done then already then the system have problem and you will need the dealer to scan it for fault codes.
