SOURCE: 12 Volt Cigarette Lighter / Accessory dead

Most likely just replace it. You could pull the fuse and then use a small screwdriver to try and pull the tabs inside the receiver in toward the center a little. It could be that repeated insertion and extraction of the lighter or accessory plug has bent them outward enough that they're not making sufficient contact to power what you plug in. If that doesn't work, replace it and then put the fuse back in.

Accessory power outlet on 2002 chevy cavalier doesn't work

Fuses for both the Cigarette lighter and accessory outlet are in the door fuse panel. If they're good, you're looking at a bad outlet, or disconnected wiring

My lighter doesnt work, i have two and one doesnt work

There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle.
The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.

The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.

The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.

Open the box, find the fuse, remove it and replace it.In the fuse box under the hood, marked AUX PWR/CIGAR..... Its 20 amps. --------- If you need the fuse location diagram and cigarette lighter wiring diagram ,then click the link below:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/10/where-is-cigarette-lighter-fuse-located_10.html ------------ This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

The cigarette light fuse tseted good , and i change the cigarette lighter socket but it still dont work ?

There may be more than one fuse for the accessory outlet. Check under the hood for a fuse panel(it should be under a cover) and there should be one inside the vehicle as well.

The cigarette lighters are not working on my Acura RSX. Neither the one in the front or the back. I have tried multiple phone chargers, and they will never work. Checked the fuses and that didn't help.

I had this same problem also... Check your fuse. It may look like a good fuse but it can be kinda loose. move the fuse around while your charger is plugged in.
When I did this to mines, my charger was flickering on, off, on off...
