What is the torque setting for a vw fox 1600 1991 model for the head and pistons

The cylinder head is 30nm first then 60nm second then 180' (this is done in 2 90' movements) New bolts are required. New big end bolts are required for the con rods, when you buy them just ask the agent to look up the torque for you, they will have this available to them.

How to remove a ignition switch on a 1988 ford mustag LX fox body 5.0L

Disconnect your negative battery terminal, then remove the plastic from around the steering column (3 screws), then turn the the ignition lock cylinder to run position, then directly down from the lock cylinder is the ignition switch, remove the two security screws and unplug the old ignition, plug in the new ignition switch, install the security screws, put plastic back on column. Put negative cable back on, DONE.

Theft system light comes on at different times then car won't start have to leave key on for 10 min. then light goes out and car will start

the ignition cylinders on these cars get worn out over the years and the antitheft module, which is designed to measure resistance values in the cylinder when the key is turned gets readings that are out of spec, resulting in a false resistance reading. There are two solutions: replace the ignition cylinder, which is somewhat expensive, or drop down the glovebox to access the theft module and put a 2000 ohm resistor in line with a wire that goes to the modules' input feed. The resistor costs 15 cents at Radio Shack and it is not that hard to do-it disables the factory alarm, but you will not have that issue again. I have done this fox on a number of late 90's-early 2000's cars, and it always works.

Just need to know the torque on the main bearings on the crank of my 1.8L Fox 1992 model, please.

The best thing you can do at this point is get the repair manual. You may find it at your local parts store or purchase it on an internet site. This way you will have all the specs; the main bearing, rod caps, cylinder head, etc torque specs.
