Where are 2.4 99 Nissian Alitma heater hoses located

I don't know specifically but I have little doubt I could find them fairly easily if I needed to - they would be the only pair of coolant hoses connecting the engine to the heater matrix.

Knowing the approximate position of the heater matrix inside the car, the heater hoses would be aiming in that direction. It isn't unusual for the heater hoses to be hidden from view when looking from above and the best access is from underneath. These days an undertray is often fitted to reduce noise and drag and must be removed before any inspection or maintenance can be carried out.

How do I access the screen wash bottle on Honda CRV 2006 diesel

I don't know where the washer bottle is on this model, friend, but the modern trend is to fit them low down with an extended spout especially if it is a large capacity bottle. They are often fitted in the space under the forward part of the front wing, mudguard or fender and following the direction of the filler spout should give a strong clue to the location. Access usually means moving plastic parts out of the way; such as the wing liner and any undertray or parts of an undertray.
Especially in winter when plastic is very difficult to work with it is better to completely remove any plastic parts but be aware some or all of any plastic retainers are likely to break during removal. Better access to the wing liner would be achieved by raising the car taking proper safety precautions and removing the front wheel.

I hope this helps.

Where do you add oil?

Hello,

  1. Jack up the car in the front and place on jackstands or place the vehicle on a service lift and raise the vehicle.
  2. Remove the plastic undertray covering the bottom of the motor. There are usually five or six screws that should drop away with just a quarter turn from a screwdriver.
  3. Once you have removed the undertray locate the oil drain plug. This is basically a large bolt head that simply sits in the oil pan with nothing else attached. it sits in the pan sideways at the bottom of the pan on the passenger side. Beware of the transmission oil drain! It is not a bolt head, the drive of the transmission plug is in the shape of a star. Do not open this plug. Make sure it's a regular hexagonal bolt. You may want to use a torque wrench to take this off and to reinstall it.
  4. Place a tub or some sort of oil drain receptacle beneath the oil plug then remove the oil plug. Allow several minutes for the oil to drain completely.
  5. Remove the oil filter. You will need a filter wrench to break the old one free. Take care to keep the filter upright when you remove it as it is full of old oil. Drain the filter of oil in the same pan you used to drain the engine.
  6. Install the new oil filter. Use your finger and wet the rubber gasket on the new filter with the old oil that you drained. You only need a little bit. Then install the new filter where the old one is. Install with your hands and make sure the filter threads in straight. You should install the new filter at "hand tight" and if you like you can give it a slight tug with the filter wrench afterwards. DO NOT OVERTORQUE THE FILTER.
  7. Once the oil has drained, replace the oil plug (Audi recommends replacing this drain plug every oil change... its up to you). Be sure to torque the plug to specifications. DO NOT OVERTORQUE THE DRAIN PLUG.
  8. Replace the undertray and remove the drain tub and tools from underneath the car. Remove the jackstands and lower the car back on the ground. Pour new oil into the oilcap and start the car. Let it run for a minute then check your oil level again. Once you have your oil level adjusted you're all set. Some people like to fill the oil filter halfway with new oil before installing it. That is up to you.

Keep in mind, do not overfill the oil... if you do the excess oil can cause damage to your catalytic converter.

Hope this helped you solve the problem.

Take care and good luck

Cannot locate the drain on a 1999 audi a4 a4

If you mean the sump drain plug then you will first need to remove the plastic undertray from beneath the engine. you should then be able to see the plug to the rear of the sump.
