SOURCE: installed new fuel pump still not start

I would definately say start by looking at the fuel cutoff switch in the trunk. There should be a red button you push in and it should start workin again

SOURCE: 750 holly carb put a holly fuel pump floods won't

sounds like the float is set to low and its not shutting fuel off . take the fuel bolws off . check the distance of the float. if the float adjuster is set all the way to the bottom . it wont shut off check it turning it upside down . close off fuel line and blow threw shut off valve if its not closed , take the float out clean it and adjust the tab in the back so it hit the shut off the fuel inlet valve sooner ....dont adjust it to high it will cause u to run out of fuel so go to your holllie rebuild kit for spec

1989 gmc once it warms up it starts to flood it self out

Are you sure it's flooding or starving itself of gas? Rent a fuel pressure gauge from auto zone and check your fuel pressure is exactly what it is supposed to be. Fuel pump can warm itself up and and kinda fizzle out so check when warm and cold.

1990 toyota celica fuel problem. It appears to be flooding. When cranking, if it has been sitting for a while, it fires for just a second, and then dies. When the fuel pump is unplugged, and engine...

start with trying to start the car with your foot hard on gas pedal, all the way to the floor this will stop fuel flow on start up its called clear flood mode. as the engine starts to fire and run ease off the pedal until it idles, it may take some time to run smoothly. if it doesnt run or stalls after a short time and then will not run i would try a ECU engine control unit as it supplies the earth circuit to the injectors, may be thats whats holding them open or they are dribbling badly and require overhauling

1998 Chevy tahoe Hard to start when cold

Hello, yes the check valve is in the fuel pump assembly. The check valve is leaking and the pump will burn out soon. Unfortunately the aftermarket fuel pumps can be very unreliable. A good portion of problems we see on this site are from people who replace the pump sometimes twice and it still doesn't work.
