2009 Acura mdx. A warning message comes on, istead of my navigation system, telling me that my navigation door is open or the DVD is not installed,, where will I find this navigation door?

If the car is new it may have been disabled to hide the location of the vehicle. That is the type of vehicle that is stolen in the US and Europe and shipped to Africa. They just busted a gang in Toronto Canada with 200 vehicles in a warehouse.

My 2003 mdx DVD player is not working either, bought a used on off eBay and installed it but it still doesn't work. When I pushed the DVD button option all I see is "AUX" popped up. Any suggestions?
THE DOOR CATCH HAS A DOUBLE "C" THAT HOLDS THE DOOR CLOSED. FIRST TAKE A SCREWDRIVER INSIDE THE "C". USING THE HANDLE ON THE INSIDE, PULL THE HANDLE AS IF YOU WERE OPENING THE DOOR AND AT THE SAME TIME, OPEN THE DOUBLE "C" WITH THE SCREWDRIVER. I HOPE THIS HELPS. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. I had the same problem and carefully cleaning the map DVD solved it. After years of use, a film gets built up on it. It is under the front passenger seat.
