2004 Acrura MDX navigation system goes blank after disclosure.

I bought a 2004 Acura MDX Touring edition a few weeks back. This morning my wife could get the navigation system to come on. Typically after the disclaimer has appeared it will prompt you to press O.K. after that the map will come up. Now the O.K. button will not appear and it just shuts off. I pulled the DVD in and out to reset but still nothing happened.

I had the same problem and carefully cleaning the map DVD solved it. After years of use, a film gets built up on it. It is under the front passenger seat.

A/c clutch & coil replacement in 2004 acura mdx touring

I'm not certain what your question is, if you are inquiring about the dificulty, it is moderate, possibly including evacuating the system and removing the compressor. On most v6 models, coil/clutch replacement cannot be done with the compressor on the vehicle. If I can assist further, reach me at https://www.6ya.com/thericepatch

Have your ABS system checked by a dealer, it works with those systems and she may have damaged a sensor. The dealer can plug in a scanner and figure out which one.

I had a loud noise on my 04 mdx. Sounded like a bad belt. Took it to my mechanic and he found that the belt wasn't properly on the alternator. when i bought it, it had a new battery put into it. the dealer i bought it at had put a new battery in it. It was probably not starting, thinking it was the battery but it wasnt. It was the belt.

Need radio code. somehow battery drained last night. now it is asking for radio code. 2003 acura mdx touring pak & navi

Check your manual in the glove box, maybe the previous owner wrote it down for you.Otherwise you will need to buy back the code from the Acura dealer. It's $50 for the code here where I live, you need proof of ownership too.Good luck!

Navigation system is locked up after battery replacement

Found the SN and CODE on the white label attached to the side of the glovebox. SN begins with a "B" followed by 8 numbers. The 4 digit code can be entered into the navigation system to unlock & reset the unit after a power disconnect.

Acura MDX Navigation system is intermittent. Need to remove it to send to Alpine for repair. Can't find instructions.

its really easey to remove the dvd unit under the pasenger seat. just put the seat all the way forward and pull the plastic guard from the seat track (pull straight back) then unplug the harness connectors in the back of the unit.
Then put the seat all the way back and remove the 1o mm nuts on the side brackets of the unit and pull it forward.
