SOURCE: I need help on replacing a radiator on my 2000 chevy cavalier

Disconnect negative battery cable. If you have Delco Loc or Theftlock audio system, turn off feature which reqiers disconnecting the battery. Make sure engine is cool and turn cap slowly to release pressure. Drain cooling system. Disable airbag system by disconnecting the electrical connector from the airbag system's forward discriminating sensor located on the hood latch support bracket. Remove the cooling fan and shroud assembly. Next loosen clamps for upper and lower hoses then Disconect from radiator. Disconect the coolant reservoir inlet and outlet hoses from radiator. You will need a couple drain pans and rags. If your car has an automatic transaxle, Disconect it from the left side tank of the radiator. Use a back-up wrench on each welded nut while loosening the cooler fitting. Be careful not to bend or brake any lines when loosening the fittings. If they are tight spry some WD-40 and wait about 10 mins. Plug the ends of the disconected lines to prevent leakage. Remove right and left head lamp assembiles. Remove hood latch support brakets from radiator crossmember. Remove condenser mounting bolts. Remove the radiator upper mounting bolts located at the upper left and right ends of radiator's side tanks. Now carefully remove radiator. To install just follow directions backwards. I hope this helped.

SOURCE: whats the trick to removing

According to available repair information that I have, once you remove the pin and the bolt, you must then pull straight out (forward from the vehicle's perspective) to release the ball and socket clips. I would suggest steady but firm pressure, as it can be difficult to get these to release.

I've attached a picture for clarification. Hope this helps.1c0f043.gif

SOURCE: How do you replace the

Changing front, right turn signal on 2005 Buick Terraza: Open hood; when facing the front of vehicle, the right turn signal is on the passenger side (left). The headlight assembly needs to be removed to easily reach the turn signal. On my vehicle, there is a 10 mm screw on the left side. Remove it. There is L-shaped pin on the right side of the headlight assembly. Swing the pin counter-clockwise (to the left). Pull the pin straight up to remove. The headlight assembly is now loose, but there is a pin snapped in a socket on the back of the assembly that still holds the assembly. Pull the headlight assembly hard and straight to the front of the vehicle. When it snaps loose, the assembly is now held just by the rubber gasket surrounding the assembly. You need to gently work the right side of the gasket out of the grill cowling. The assembly should pull straight out. The wires are long enough to lay the headlight assembly in the engine compartment. Finally, the turn signal is now accessible. Twist the light holder counter-clockwise and pull out the light holder. Change the bulb. Do not punch your man-card for credit until you have successfully reinstalled the headlight assembly. It goes back in a little easier the second time. Once you have put the L-pin in place, the screw back, and successfully tested the lights, you can now punch your man-card.

I give the mechanical engineers and designers a D-minus instead of an F only because I was successful on the first try. No light bulb on anything commonly used by people should be this hard to figure out.
