Anyone know which Nissan the above does/doesn't fit? For instance many sellers are selling MPT1340 fobs for different makes, Nissan, BMW etc etc. Does this mean that all these cars with the 1340 have the same circuit board but with different cases and perhaps different transponders. As you know the most expensive part of the fob is the board. New transponders,cases, blades and batteries are v. reasonable. On a 2nd note, where you have a new key with the correct blank transponder installed and cut to pattern but is not a fob (no buttons) can this be self-programmed as per online instructions or with a machine only? (Some of these Far East )programming boxes look suspiciously cheap being a fraction of the cost of programming by a locksmith bot to mention main dealer! Any advice much appreciated
