Will take some chasing

myself i try many different sizes and strengths of 0 rings and rubber bands
you may even have to chase up single belts size

will be new old stock parts .....try ebay or amazon
even a home stereo enthusiasts magazine or forum

remember yours will be stretched out of original shape
any belt kit in a packet you find will be listed as
"fits a whole range other makers systems "

this one is in a museum

How to route belts on general electric 3-5672a cassette deck

you can follow these steps:
  1. Open the cassette deck: Carefully open the cassette deck by removing any screws or clips that secure the outer casing. Be cautious not to damage any internal components or delicate parts.
  2. Observe the existing belt placement: Before removing any belts, take note of their positions and how they are routed around various pulleys, flywheels, or other components. This will serve as a reference for installing the new belts correctly.
  3. Remove and replace the belts: Gently remove the old belts, keeping track of their lengths and shapes. Measure the size and shape of the old belts or refer to any documentation that may have come with the deck to determine the appropriate replacement belts. Install the new belts one at a time, following the observed routing from step 2.
  4. Ensure proper tension: Ensure that the newly installed belts have the appropriate tension. They should be tight enough to drive the various mechanisms but not overly tight or loose. Adjust the tension if necessary.
  5. Test and adjust: After replacing the belts, reassemble the cassette deck and test its functionality. Verify that the belts drive the cassette mechanism smoothly and consistently. Make any necessary adjustments to belt tension or routing if the mechanisms do not operate correctly.
If you encounter any difficulties or are unsure about the belt routing or replacement process, it is advisable to consult a professional technician or reach out to a specialized audio repair service. They will have the expertise and knowledge to handle the specific requirements of your General Electric 3-5672A cassette deck and ensure proper belt routing.

How can I get belts for a stereo double cassette deck model number TD-W83 and where?

You just need to measure the diameter in MM of the old belts. You don't have to be too precise. Then put these words into google. "Cassette drive belt XXmm". Belts are universal so pick the nearest one to your measurement.

I am looking for drive belts for Sony Model TC-WR801ES stereo casette deck

All you need to do is measure the diameter of each belt in MM. Then put "Cassette drive belt ??mm" into Google and you should find a supplier. Belts are not generally specific to any maker. Also you don't need to be precise on the MM. If you are removing them to measure, make a note of how they fit first.

Denon Stereo audio cassette deck DR-M30HX traction prob thin tape

Belts for decks are universal, there are plenty of places on the web selling them. Parts for a Denon from 25 years ago is another matter. However I think you might need only the belts, as the longer tapes speed problems suggest that it's the load that's causing the belts to struggle. All you need to do is measure the diameter of any belts for replacement. HOWEVER before you remove them make a note, or photographer, how and where they fit.
Use Servisiol Video 40 to clean the rollers and head.

Cassette Tape Deck Problem

Unit may have worn belts that are slipping. All cassette player belts are subject to deterioration even if recently installed. You may try ordering the belts yourself and have a service tech install them. The tech that installed belts 9 months ago may have used used belts. Although dishonest, it is common.
