Ok, I know this is old but to help anyone in the future... It is really, really easy to remove the rear seat cushion.
You just push the bottom of the seat cushion in and lift up.
Keep rear seat back in upright position. You need to unlatch the rear seat cushion at 2 points, which are at the center of each seating position. You just squish the seat cushion towards the back of the car, right at the bottom where it meets the carpet and lift up. That half of the seat will popup, then repeat for other side.
It takes maybe 5 seconds to do.
You won't beleive how easy it is 'till you try it. This is how many, many cars mount there rear seat cushions.

To remove the rear seat back, you first have to remove the rear seat bottom cushion. There are two clips on the front edge of the cushion, and they need to be disengaged; pull up with some force on the front edge of the cushion, where it meets the floor. Once the clips are disengaged, you can take the bottom cushion out of the car. Next, you will see the bolts that holds the rear seat backs onto the rear metal pane; all you now need to do is remove the bolts, and slide the seat backs up and out.
To remove the rear seat, pull up on the front of the seat bottom, it should be hooked in place by spring type clips. After you get the front edge up, pull out the seat. This should expose the bolts/screws that hold the seat back in. Look below and there should be a couple of screws holding the seatback to the car body. Remove these and then you can pull the seat back out of the car. K
