It means that your charging system is not working properly. Go to the parts store and have them check the alternator, its free. This should cause your battery to loose charge?

Sounds like the alternator maybe on its way out, do the head lights dim over time while driving at night.

Blown fuse, or could be the dimmer switch. Check fuses first.

most likeliy is the ignation module located at the side of the distributor.
chekc the spark from the high voltage plug first, if no spark then you need to replace the IM.

SOURCE: my nissan serena car alarm

There are instructions in the owners manual on how to reset the alarm system, if it will not reset then it has a failed part, in this case it needs to go to the shop for diagnosis.

These CVT transmissions were never built to be capable of extended offroad driving unless you have the necessary coolers etc

SOURCE: dashboard warning brake light stays on continuosly nissan altima

Try this, Since you are applying the hand brake. Manually pull up on the emergency pedal and see if the light goes out. If this does work then you could have one of several problems. but, I am thinking that you might be able to adjust the brake tensioner if this car has one.

No sign of gear on the dashboard of my Nissan serena

Generally, when the dashboard warning light populates, panic erupts - why? Most people are unaware of what specific symbols mean. If they did, they would know that not every warning light signal is indicative of a malfunction or costly repair.
At times, your dashboard lights are merely letting you know what systems are in use. We decided to compile a list of the most important indications, so you can have a better understanding of Nissan warning lights and their meanings.

Hi
my name is Francis and i own a Nissan Serena Rider S Autotech 2006 model and c25 engine mr20. I did engine wash and thereafter the engine started jacking and the lights on dashboard i.e. 'P' 'R' 'N' 'D' 'L' disappeared immediately. we decided to use pressure to get rid of water on sensor and two computer boxes and finally the 'P' 'R' 'N' 'L' but 'D' light failed. since then the car lacked drive power and when i engage the car to drive, it keeps showing "N" despite and no driver power.

Please advice what could be the problem with my car and would appreciate so much for any help i may get somebody somewhere.

Kind regards,

Francis.

Nissan serena alternator

You must test first if your alternator produces output voltage (usually about 13.5V)
A test light is a simple but extrememly useful tool.
If you are trying to diagnose and troubleshoot an electrical problem, sometimes a test light can help you rule out possible causes much more quickly and easily than a DMM (Digital Multi Meter)
