You should have a small wire powering the stick from the Accesory port within in cab fuse panel in the dash. Generally has a 15A or 20A fuse in it. Make a short jumper wire. Crimp a male connector on one end and a female on the other. The female should slide onto a male connector on the back of the joystick and then pull out the fuse marked ACC. Hole the male end from the jumper along side the fuse as you reinsert it. Your power light should light up as soon as you turn your key to the ACC position, (as long as the joysticks power button is switched on. ) minute mount 2 it's generally on the side of the controller box.

SOURCE: mondeo mk1 drivers elec window stuck down

Hi!Base on what u have mentioned, the water is what causes the problem.U see water is a form of conductor and once it is in the switch it will distort the effective operation and it could also causes the switch to burnt.U need to use compress air and blow out the switch removing all the moisture that may present. If it don't work u will have to replace it.

SOURCE: 1991 Ford Escort fan will not turn on and motor overheats.

some water from the tail pipe is normal but if the car is running bad then it is possible the head gasket is blown. on the escorts that i have owned i have found that the main relay is usually burned and needs to be replaced. it is possible that the fan is dragging and burning this relay up if this relay is good then you may be better off taking it to the electrical shop.

SOURCE: 95 ford ranger windshield wipers dont work

There is also a box inside the radio compartment area where the radio mounts that has the door open / key in ignition alarm. If someone unplugged this to disable the annoying ding ding ding; it will also disable the wipers. I wouldn't want to tell on myself but I guess I just did.

Wiring new plow light in a 1988 Jeep Cherokee, bought universal plow light kit 1311100 to replace old light on a Meyers setup.

sold my 88's (had 2, one yours, and one Comanche)
sold in 2000 year, ran hard and over 250k miles each.
the answer is the same,as all cars, for sure..
you have an added relay for lights.(aux)
this relay prevents overloading the cars H/L wiring and fusing
so there are 2 parts, there, a relay and a fuse inline added.
the fuses are are for fire safety. (the battery can do 500+ amps ok?)
Relay mounted somewhere, and...
the coil pin 1, ground. car body ground is ok.
then the relay coil 2 wire to the H/L low beam wire,or tail light wire using and inline 5amp fuse , to protect that very expensive H?L switch in that jeep,
tail lamp wire also means PARKING lamps. TODAY.

Contactors are those switch part of relay not the coil.
then contactor, power in pin to one more fuse, 15amp to battery +
and each contactor out to your plow lights. (load)

the when H/L are on the relay closes and the Plow lights work
if you google this there are zillions of wiring diagrams for this
even 4wd offroad light bars wired the same way.

there you go, how to wire AUX lights on any vehicle.

could it be possible that fuse box in engine compartment is fried? Don't assume the worst . If the PCM - engine computer doesn't see an input from the crankshaft position sensor it won't energize the fuel pump relay .Watch this video an test the electrical circuit .

I am geting power to three of the four erminals on my soleniod when plow is hooked up. I replaced the solenoid and the same problem. I checked all fuses for the truck as well as the plow. Control has...

Not a lot to work with here so I'm going to have to make some assumptions, and may need some more info. I'm going to assume this solenoid operates a hydraulic pump motor for the plow. If it looks something like a ford starter relay there are two large terminals and two small ones. One large one is power from the source, the other is power out to the motor. The small ones control it one is the ground, and one comes from the controller. If you have power on both large terminals and the motor does not run you problem is down stream. Check the cable connection at the at the motor, and check your ground. If you have power to the motor and a good ground the motor is dead.

Western plow motor runs but won't move

97 350 .... 9 ft Western unimount isaramic . New 9 pin . Truck and plow side . New plow motor .new relays and solenoid . . Plug 9 pin in and plug power cord to to . Lights come on. Motor kicks in when I turn on the controller . But stays running and no movement. Test light the plow solenoid . All have power . New fluid. I'm buying a new pump for 200 hoping that's the problem . But I'm stumped on the new motor ...... Old motor had 1 post . Ground to frame . New motor has two posts . Post and neg to motor .... If I switch the ground back to plow frame like the old one. Nothing works but lights stay on . When I reconnect the ground back onto the motor . Lights go out and motor turns on. . Possibly blew relays? It's a new motor . Stumped

Fan motor won;t turn on blower motor is ok fuses are ok relay is ok but i still have no power at the switch what am i missing

sounds like the wire from fuse box to switch is bad, a fuse completes a circuit or route the fuse takes power in on one side and sends power out the other, I've seen it many of times but cant confirm its your problem. but the power comes in and the power goes out and the fuse checks good but on the out side it is not making connection to the wire or connector on the back of fuse box. run a jumper wire from a positive power source to the positive in on the switch does it work is there a good ground to the motor
