Why is my 98 dodge caravan dying while driving?

My caravan has started dying while driving 65-75 mph for no reason and it gives no warning just dies. It will start back up after a few attempts but it acts like it is flooded when it does start back up. It will do this in a 40 mile range sometimes 4 or 5 times. Help please

This could be catalytic converter plugging off or fuel pump or filter issue. Especially if it runs good at low speed.

The warning lights ALWAYS come on when the engine dies. Since it just clicks when you try to start, you've got a battery/charging problem.

Sounds like a fuel supply problem. Does it pop through the carberator as it it is dying, like a lean back fire? If you drove it up a hill would it die before 35 or 40 mph? If the fuel demand excedes the fuel supply the engine will die, but would restart after cranking the engine for awhile. Possibly a plugged fuel filter, fuel line, rotten fuel hose, ( sucking air ) or tired fuel pump. Hope this helps.

2000 dodge caravan sputters and dies when comming to stop restarts ok takes back off untill you stop again

You will have to check the MAP sensor. It's like the o2 sensor. It's the reason our 2000 Caravan had issues for dying and some acceleration probs. New wires and plugs will help, too.

My 98 dodge caravan has a loss of power and dies when stopping

Filter is mounted directly above the pump module on top of the fuel tank. You may have to drop it down a little bit to change it. Also check the fuel pressure with a good gauge while it's running poorly and see if it's out of spec.

98 accord dies while driving for no apparent reason

It could be a number of things. These include: faulty coil wire, bad alternator, bad torque converter, bad computer, the ignition relay is giving out, a dirty and stuck idle control valve. It should be one of these problems. How to tell which one it is is to follow a systematic approach and test each indiviaul item/circuit.
