I suggest changing the pickup in the distributor. This is what fires the injectors. If you have a noid light you can check for pulse at the injector, but my guess is there is nothing signaling the injector to fire.
Try spraying a little bit of starting fluid down the throttle body them try starting it.If it starts then replace the fuel pump because if you have enough fuel and you have spark then it should start.
pressure underhood is good. i'd check the plug conection at the throttle body(injector).see that the injector trigger wires haven't been cut or crimped around the air filter.the injector can be removed from the body for cleaning, but you may want a shop to do that with an ultrasonic cleaner.does it spray at all when cranked?check all sensor connections too.
i am having to do the same thing ! i replaced the filter and regulater on throttle body and pump ! and still not fixed !! did you find out what was wroung with yours ? [email protected]
Check the throttle body butterfly flap, its propably very dirty, holding off the flap at idle will cut it out. If its dirty, then get a can of carburrettor cleaning spray and clean the throttle body, that should do the trick. Hope that helps
The fuel filter is under the car, in-line. If the pump runs, it wouldn't be the relay. When you try to start it, can you see any gas spray from the injector? You could have a bad injector. Check for power going to the injector.
most likely a weak fuel pump or a clogged filter. Check fuel pressure with a gauge or as its bogging down spray brake cleaner in the Throttle Body. If this allows it to increase RPM then its the pump or filter.
take the large hoseoff of the throttle body it comes from the air filter open the throttle by hand and spray it with carb cleaner clean all the black carbon you might have to remove the throttle body to get to both sides. The carbon is hanging up the large butterfly causing your problem
