Hi my vauxhall vectra sri 2.2 direct petrol 07 plate just replaced the fuel pump as the car has no power but still no power. It starts fine still no power when i put foot on pedal.

Only way to check out the problem for sure is to drop the gearbox out and examine the clutch. Having gone this far in to the internal workings. It would make best sense to replace the clutch and pressure plates. Oil leaks can be repaired at the same time. No need to go to a main dealer because clutch replacement on a V6 is technically a very similar and no more difficult to replacement on any other Vectra

undo one injector and prime the lift pump till diesal comes out by hand if this dont work undo injector turn car over till diesal comes out and car starts do up injector other than that it may well start off a tow

you can try to see if the fuel regulator is bad,sometimes there will be gas in the air cleaner\tube,it sounds to me that its getting too much fuel

Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas / GAS DRYER to remove any moisture problem in the fuel.

Clean / replace air filter.

Top off ATF to MAX level.

Vauxhall vectra fuel pump not pumping fuel out fast enough

You need to test the fuel pressure and not guess, you have no idea really what is causing this problem without comprehensive diagnostics being done.
