It is what makes the radio useless to someone who steals it. You need the radio serial number to get the code from a dealer, or registering with Honda online as the owner. Hold preset #1 and #6 down and then turn on radio, keeping 1 and 6 pressed. Serial # is 8 digits, displayed 4 at a time.

SOURCE: 2003 Honda Odyssey radio does

If you recently disconnected your vehicle battery, or had it replaced, the code on the radio must be re-entered in order for it to work. It's a security device to discourage theft since you have to have the code to make it come on. The code is printed on a little plastic card in with your owner manual or other papers. You have to enter the code correctly or you will lock yourself out after three trys. This can only be reset by leaving the radio in the on position and the car on (not running, just turn the key to the on position) for and HOUR! I know, I had to do it. Anyway, enter the code and voila! the radio will magically come back on. Write the code down in the manual so you don't have to hunt for the card. A thief may steal your radio, but he probably won't take the manual.

The dealer where you bought the vehicle should be able to help you with this code. Sometimes a sticker is affixed inside the glovebox too.
Good Luck!

SOURCE: 2003 Honda Odyssey Brake light replacement

open the rear hatch. Between the tail light housing and the rear hatch opening there is a trim strip with two flush fitted flap doors. Insert a small straight blade screwdriver into the small slot on the tail light side of the flap. Pry gently inboard and the small flap will open (the hinge side of the flap is on the side of the rear hatch opening.) Now you can remove the screws that hold the tail lamp assembly in place. Finally, there is still a "spear point" clip that fits into a socket near the front outboard corner of the assembly. Gently pry with a tape wrapped screwdriver (avoids scratches) and force the assembly straight back. The clip should release and free the assembly so you can change the bulb(s).

SOURCE: I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey my radio says code

If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code. Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release.)
. Some older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number. Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code.
Hope this gets you started on getting it playing.

Honda odyssey 2003 CD player shows E 00 w hen I try to load cd

E00 is a vague error code used by Honda that indicates a problem with the CD Drive in the head unit. Unfortunately this will require removing and head unit and replacing it with either an OEM replacement or an aftermarket unit.

My odyssey 2003 is showing code err for the entertainment

Does the radio work at all. or is the cd player the only issue.? most of the time you need to enter a radio code to unlock the radio. If you enter it wrong to many times it will display error on the display.if you dont know the code then you can call the dealership and get the code after you do the following below to get the serial number.
Press and hold 1 and 6 on the radio while still holding the 1 and 6 press the power button. At this time it will read off serial number

Translated:
I need the code in a honda odyssey 2003
this is an english forum, the proof is , no hyphenated letters.(Spanish style) like n' i' ,etc.
but you failed to say the key word RADIO.?
and i can not send you a Spanish operators guide.
if i could? you'd read the page on radio.
my guess. you lost the radio key card in the glove box.
and did not get the code and keep put it in your dresser (wallet?)
yes?
then that puts you, on the last page of the operator guide.
3-you must go to the dealer, with radio serial number.
or to a certifed key shop(smith), that has this special license to do this.

Radio stopped working on my 2003 honda odyssey

Most honda's radios had a theft deterent system that requires a 4 digit code to be entered after power to the system is lost. If you do not have a code setup, look in your owners manual, some had a factory set code to unlock and allow you to set your own code. If not, you may need to see a dealer as they would be the only ones I know that would have the capability to unlock it.

I changed the bettery in my 2003 Honda Odyssey and now the radio won't play, it asks for a reset code. How do I find this code to reset it to play ?

Inside the glove compartment on the left hand side there should be a series of numbers under 6. You punch in the order on your pre set radio station numbers and it should come right on! Good Luck!

2003 Honda Odyssey DVD will not eject disk. How do I fix this?

Replace it with a repaired unit or yours repaired for around $350 and labor unless you know how to remove it yourself. Honda has a repair service in Cal.to fix these problems. Here's an idea, I got one from a wrecked Odyssey and installed it myself. Doesn't require a code number as it is programed in radio.

Radio not accepting manufactur code.

If it is the correct code, you may have entered it a few times & locked the system. Either disconnect the battery & wait a minute & reconnect & retry, or pull the radio fuse & retry after waiting a minute & reinstalling.
