Doesnt squeal at all until it hits operating temp. when it starts squealing it stops only when accelerator is opened. When u first start the engine it runs on 4 or 5 cylinders hitting until i rev the motor, then it runs fine. i have fixed some vacuum hoses and tuned up the whole motor but no difference. thanks for any help.
Yes, agree, it is a serp belt needing tightening
Testimonial: "And its a extremely loud earpiercing squeal. Almost cant handle it."
Check your power steering fluid , or you serpentine belt an tensioner !
Testimonial: "the belt is pretty tight and the power steering fluid is good . Its hard to explain but it doesnt start squealing until it hits 180 to 200 temp. On cold days outside it doesnt do it at all. I was told it had something to do with the vacuum. Idk"
