If the spacer is like a small tube and the bolt will slide into it, it will probably need to be placed between the the back plate and the place that the bolt threads into. If you look at the back plate you may be able to see the outline of where it was. Sometimes reassembly is easier if you can put the bolt and spacer in place in the back plate and then put it into place.

2002 hyundai accent 1.6L. my ac belt tensioner fell off (loosened it a bit to much) along with 3 different size washers and i havent figured out how to put it back correctly. searching the internet for...

Usually, you have two washers between the plate and the pulley, and a third on the outside between the bolt and the pulley. The larger washer would go on first as a spacer.
You might want to check out another car to make sure.

I have a code P320 on my 1999 Jeep Grand. What do I need to replace and how? Thanks for your help. John

Replace the crank sensor.

360dreamworx_25.gif
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is mounted to the transmission bellhousing at the left/rear side of the engine block. The sensor is adjustable and is attached with one bolt. A wire shield/router is attached to the sensor.

REMOVAL
  1. Disconnect sensor pigtail harness (3-way connector) from main engine wiring harness.
  2. Remove sensor mounting bolt.
  3. Remove wire shield and sensor.
INSTALLATION
New replacement sensors will be equipped with a paper spacer glued to bottom of sensor. If installing (returning) a used sensor to vehicle, a new paper spacer must be installed to bottom of sensor. This spacer will be ground off the first time engine is started. If spacer is not used, sensor will be broken the first time engine is started.
  1. New Sensors: Be sure paper spacer is installed to bottom of sensor. If not, obtain spacer PN05252229.
  2. Used Sensors: Clean bottom of sensor and install spacer PN05252229.
  3. Install sensor into transmission bellhousing hole.
  4. Position sensor wire shield to sensor.
  5. Push sensor against flywheel/drive plate. With sensor pushed against flywheel/drive plate, tighten mounting bolt to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.) torque.
  6. Route sensor wiring harness into wire shield.
  7. Connect sensor pigtail harness electrical connector to main wiring harness.

A/C not working, only ambient temp air when turned on, not cool or cold at all

First check to see if you have enough coolant. If you are sure of this, The clutch to the air conditioner may not be kicking in when it should. This may be caused by the air gap being too large.

Carefully take the clutch off of the front of the AC unit being careful not to drop the 3-4 bolts. Behind it you will see a spring clip with spacers. By removing one of the spacers, it makes the gap between the clutch plate narrower so that the electromagnet can engage the clutch. This worked on my 1997 Dakota. Air would kick on and last for 15 minutes before it would smell musty. I would wait for another half hour then turn on again. The clutch was disengaging. May or not work for yours.

Frozen rear shock absorber bolt

Once the internal welds are broken, the only fix is to cut a small hole in the frame. Use a hole saw, angle grinder or similar. Make up a replacement panel with the required spacer/nut welded in behind, and weld in the new panel section. If you don't have access to a MIG welder, you'll need to find someone local who does.
