Need instruction to remove radiator from a Chrysler 300c 2006
Remove both hoses undo trans pipes unbolt radiator from car lift out.
Sort of hard and complicated to explain. Cover off, cap off, mounts unbolted, petcock drain opened, hoses disconnected, fan unbolted, shroud unbolted, fan and shroud come out, then wires for fan switch... Perhaps go to your local high school and ask at the auto shop for the teacher or perhaps even his class to help you out. Some radiators have cooling lines in the bottom for the tranny which are full of fluid.

Sounds like you have a problem with the alarm system. Does it beep, or blow at a steady keel? If it beeps, alarm, if it blows steady, look for a stuck horn pad.

yes. If the rack is not held ,when you try to turn the rod you could bend the rack. With the pin out it doesn't take much to hold the rack, loosen the end with the rack "turned " so the rack is retracted into the housing, not sticking way out .
Testimonial: "Thanks a bunch"

Code p1004 is "short runner valve performance"
There are 2 things Chrysler says in their bulletin :
1) RE-flash computer with a special "patch" from the
scan tool, and 2) Replace the intake plenum ( very expensive !)
This is the info I have, check back with a factory authorized Chrysler service center, and Please let me know what you find out.

Dear dodmoir,
Ok, if the actuator is faulty, and the dealer can confirm this, then you will need to source the part yourself and fit it if you wish to go down this route, or take it to an approved garage and get them to do this. Which one? Good, im glad you have stuck about, so we need to find you a replacement actuator; so let me see... urrrmmm... here is a place and its good old ebay

check it out, and this is the replacement part you will need if the dealer reckons it is this.
I would also get the cars ECU (computer) checked out, as what this enables is a full list and breakdown of all potential faults within the engine to be identified. This is quite costly to do at some places, but if you shop around your local area you should be able to find a competitive quote.
This forum I have found, seems to yield information that is well worth checking out, and it does sound to me like this is a generic fault with this make and model of car

Please do keep in contact, and I will do more digging around on this one, and will let you know when more surfaces
Hope to hear from you soon
Yours sincerely
