the crank sensor is located passenger side back of the engine were the trans and engine come together .there are 2 - 13mm.bolts that bolt to top of the engine.

It's a big job. Drain the coolant down, recover the freon in the ac system and disconnect the lines and heater hoses. Lower the steering column, remove the instrument panel assembly, remove the heater housing. Split the case halves on the housing and there you are. Usually around 500 to 700 dollars at a dealership.

the fuel filter is located on the iner driver or pasenger side frame railing inbetween the front and rear doors. yes it has filter in the tank which is more comely know as the sock or straner. the filter will look like a metal canister .

We had the same problem. The dealership wanted to do a 2,000 major overhaul of the rear axle. I found out there is a speed sensor that is easily replaced (it happened a few years ago but I remember the part being pretty inexpensive). Hope this helps.
