Cargo light on in message center vanity lights, map light, dome light not working
SOURCE: Dome light doesn't work nor
Oddly enough if the lights get power and work when grounded, then all the door switches that act as grounds must have gone bad at the same time. Although most interior light also have a switch directly on the fixture that allows being turn always on or always off, as well as working when the door ground switch is opened.

get your owners manual out and make sure that your dome light and cargo light switches are in the proper position. there are usually 3 positions, always off, always on, and on when door open. then make sure that your bulbs are good. if you can do this then you are in the top 10% of the mechanically gifted and should consider a new career through MIT.
now if the switches are all in the proper, on when door open, position and the bulbs are good then you have a bad push button switch for the cargo door. this is in the door jamb somewhere and merely unscrews or pops out with a little sideways pry. 90 percent of the time the light switch is in the always off position so replacing the switch or bulb will get you nowhere.
SOURCE: 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 security light on,
The security light issue is very common on GM vehicles. This is from a break in the communication between the key, igniton, and TDM (Theft Deterrent Module) computer. The hard part is figuring out which one is failing. They is no way to know other than to just start switching out old parts and putting in new ones. This is expensive and all parts must match for the security to work. There are ways to bypass the system Other than that, you'll need to take it to a dealer to get FIXED. If you want to bypass the system, you can go to this link for all the info you will need. Ive bypassed dozens of these things and its a pretty easy DO IT YOURSELF fix. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Check under the hood, in the fusebox, for a fuse label ctsy (courtesy). It'll be over the driver side wheel. Replace it, if blows and, you have a wire touching bear metal somewhere. Good luck!

Your courtesy fuse is blown. Look under the hood fusebox. There should be a fuse labeled CTSY (10amp). If blown, you have a hot wire touching bare metal.
