These problems can cause by several different reasons,
Engine needs air-fuel and sparks to keep running.
Ignitions and fuel system inspections will be good place to start and if you have any engine warning light on your dash the best thing to get the code read out to get first idea what is causing the problems you have!!

SOURCE: abs and park brake light came on same time

Its either the speed sensor on the rear differential or your steering wheel is all the way down pinching a wire in the harness. I have had both problems. Raise the steering wheel and if that does not fix it then its the speed sensor(might be called something else) but it is on the rear diff.

SOURCE: Check engine light is on. Truck hesitates when

If you run in to one of the bigger auto parts stores ( Pep Boys, Autozone etc.) they will scan it for free to give you a code(s) that has illuminated the light and should indicate where problem is. If code doesn't point everyone in right direction of repair, get back to us with that/those codes and we can better advise you of course of action for repairs.

  • In the vast majority of cases, simply cleaning the MAF sensor does the trick. Consult your service manual for it's location if you need help. I find it's best to take it off and spray it with electronics cleaner or brake cleaner. Make sure you are careful not to damage the MAF sensor, and make sure it's dry before reinstalling
  • Inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary

Parking Brake, ABS, Traction Control & Anti Skid lights on

One or more of the sensors in the wheels that are responsible for these functions is faulty. It is sending a signal that is mucking up the calculations that control the brakes and engine for traction control and anti skid. All of them need to be checked!

I'm experiencing a hesitation or jumping during acceleration between 35 and 45 mph on my 2004 outlander it has 129000 miles I've ruled out transmission problems and no codes or warning lights are given...

I am having the same problem but it only happens to me when the car engine is cold. This does not happen when the car has been on for a while. My solution is that I warm up the car for about 20 minutes before driving and my car works fine.

Added to my problem, when I press the gas, it asks like it's choking and I have to press through it, flooring the gas, to which it accelerates too much. It's ok when no in traffic. Also, when I stop the car idles really low and acts like it wants to shut off.

2002 F250 4x2 SC - abs light comes on momentarily under hard acceleration, speedometer drops down at same time then pegs back up to normal speed. Coincides with tranny downshift. No loss of power, no wheel...

I bet you also lose the function of your cruise control when it happens. I would start first with checking the wiring connection on the vehicle speed sensor (also acts as abs sensor). Remove the sensor, clean it up and reinstall. If that doesn't work, replace the VSS.

You will find it on the top of your rear differential.

Side note: If you ever get stuck in the mud/snow and have to rock the truck forward/reverse, sometimes that will trigger your ABS light as well. This will normally reset itself after a few on/off cycles of the engine.

Idles rough when warmed up and also idles high even with idle turned down, motor also acts like its runnin out of fuel if under hard acceleratin

It has a carburetor where the fuel and air mixture is fed to the cylinder, tuning of the engine has to done by adjusting the flow(volume) of both fuel & air. In your case the fuel flow is more and for acceleration a butterfly valve allows momentary more flow of fuel to the cylinder & piston for the engine to compensate/respond to to demand of extra power. However the air flow is constant, thus in your case more fuel but same amount of air floods the cylinder and it feels like like some thing typical choking sound...............sodeep
