Ok I need some help! I have a 2010 Ford Focus sedan. Bought in march. My check engine came on with a code 300 . The car ideal rugs wacky, all over the place. As I drive it feels like it is going to stall out , it actually has a few times. We haves the spark plugs and it wasn't the issue . Where should we go from here ?

    Problem Solved
Tube from air box to throttle body had a crack and sucking air. That was throwing off the MAF sensor and making it run that way.
    Thanks

dont take soo much in consideration after you have make all this things, some time is on only for any wire faulty, or a shrt electrical arc in any place in wire system. ask auto tap mechsnics for this maybe they have similar case before.

If engine is actually running lean, could be clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump.

There is a large vac line coming straight down from the throttle body that goes to the PCV system. See if it has a hole in it. It is likely sucking air.

Hi, have you checked your intake manifold gaskets for a leak? If not, start the car and spray carb cleaner on the gaskets, If the engine speed changes, you have a leak. Also recommend you verify the throttle is closing fully. please let me know if you have questions or need instructions for changing the gaskets.

2000 ford escort 2.0L. plugs, wires, coil pack, alternator, MAF sensor. hard to start and RPM around 1k wants to die (any stops) always runs rough. Says air intake sensor. catalytic converter or CCRM?

Have you cleaned the throttle body and throttle body valve? have you cleaned the idle speed control air bypass valve? are the injectors clean? Are there any fault codes in memory, do the things I mentioned if you haven't already. Also hard engine mounts can cause roughness at idle. Another thing is the timing belt tight?

2001 ford explorer sport,6 cylinder, rough idle and stalling....unplugged mass air sensor...seems to idle fine then...can u help me?

If there is a Auto Zone around your area, have them scan the Explorer for any DTC codes since it's fee of charge. But in the mean time buy a can of MAF cleaner and follow the instructions and also buy a can of Trottle body cleaner and follow the instructions on the can. Clean the MAF and the Throttle body, also try to get the Idle Air Control falve cleaned too which is on the throttle body. So use up the whole can of Throttle body cleaner and it would not hurt to use two cans. Once everything is cleaned that should fix the problem, the other thing to that would cause your poor idle and stalling is a bad or dirty EGR valve which can be cleaned with Carburetor cleaner since it's stronger then the Throttle body cleaner, just remove the EGR and spray the Carbon build away and place back in place. Note: the Carb cleaner is to strong for the gaskets used on the throttle body so don't use it on the throttle body. Good luck and this should help get your Explorer running 100% soon.
