C1102 Battery Voltage Low but you pulled the battery so......normal
c1702 faulty HECU? is ABS PUMP ERROR, AND SEE RECALL ON IT.

IS ABS LAMP GLOWING IN DASH IGNORED?
GET ABS FULLY SCANNED.

Need more details here like petrol engine or diesel ,but torque sequence is easy start in the middle and alternate from side to side ,as for the torque then a petrol engine alloy head then 65lbs will suffice ,yes i dare say some expert will come back and say it has a special tool and you torque to so many newtons then back off 90? and tighten so many degrees ,well this old fogey does the proper way as on the assembly they pull the head down all at once with one big machine ,so start in the middle and pull down with a rachet lightly going from left to right one bolt at a time,then pull down a bit harder for the second pass then the last pass with the torque wrench .then have a cuppa and a ciggy ,visit the boys room and read the paper then pull it down again ,job done ,do not rush anything your not on bonus or the assembly line .These fancy tools that measure degrees are not cheap for a one off use and your not trying to impress a client that walks into the workshop either so do it the old fashioned way and you will not be far wrong,right iam off out now more ITVs to do ,vehicle inspections at the goverment test centre ,easy money for a old person like me who speaks the spanish

Yes 1975 is when they started phasing out leaded gasoline in car engines.

All VW product have plasma coated bores and for this reason will "use"oil.the workshop manual says "1 litre every 350 km is ACCEPTABLE".I have NEVER had a car THAT BAD,unless worn out.
check your oil every 500 miles MAX.and use 10/40 semi synthetic.(as per VW Europe/middle/far east manual.)change every 10k inc filter.
