The new headlights, probably blew the fuse check the fuse and relay if so get a bigger fuse to run the new headlights. Remember when replacing any light in your vehicle to not touch the glass part of the bulb with your bare fingers..

My headlights on my 2000 Mercury Mountaineer don't work. It's not the fuse. What could it be?

Check to see if your high beams work, also play with the combination switch that controls the headlights, it is typical for it to wear out and cause these problems.

1994 dodge dakota my headlights and tail lights and brake lights don't work my abs and parking brake lights are on my dash lights don't work either I replaced the headlight switch and still no

These are all different circuits. The brake lights are on a 10amp fuse - the headlights are on a 50amp fuse - and the parking and dash lights are on a 20amp fuse.
Do you have power going into the headlight switch and the brake light switch ?

My headlights have quit working on my 1994 Chevy 1500 pickup. I replaced the headlight switch but they still don't work. The parking lights come on but not the headlights

Try checking both a; your fuses, and b; check your bulbs. You should have two fuse boxes, one under hood and one in or under the dash. Check those for bad, blown or weak fuses. And check your headlights bulbs for them being good and their connection. If this doesn't fix your problem, you may check out your highbeam switch.

ARE FUSES AND RELAYS THE CAUSE OF MY HEADLIGHTS NOT WORKING?

Given the limited information, the short answer is YES. A fusible link or the car's version of a circuit breaker is responsible for the headlights and other accessories. There may be other things not working that you haven't identified yet. Since it's extremely rare for both headlights to cease working at the same time, either 1 stopped a little earlier and it went unnoticed, or there's an electrical problem (likely a fusible link) that is the cause. It's been my experience that automobile electrical specialists are much better than dealerships or regular service stations at diagnosing these problems. They don't come cheap but it's usually $$$ well spent. Best of luck with your headlight problem.
