Showing no fuse on dashboard of pt cruisers 2005 and fuel pump not working

The fuel pump not working in your 2005 PT Cruiser and the absence of a "fuel pump fuse" on the dashboard could be caused by a few different issues.
  1. Blown Fuse: If the fuel pump fuse has blown, it will need to be replaced in order to restore power to the fuel pump. The fuse box in a 2005 PT Cruiser is typically located under the hood, on the driver's side.
  2. Fuel Pump Relay: The fuel pump relay controls the power to the fuel pump. If the relay has failed, the fuel pump will not receive power and the engine will not start. The relay is usually located in the power distribution center or the engine compartment fuse box.
  3. Fuel Pump: If the fuel pump itself has failed, it will need to be replaced. The fuel pump is typically located in the fuel tank.
  4. Wiring Issues: Wiring problems can also cause the fuel pump to stop working. If the wiring has been damaged or is corroded, it will need to be repaired or replaced in order to restore power to the fuel pump.
If you are not comfortable diagnosing and fixing the issue yourself, I would recommend taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic. They will be able to diagnose the problem and make the necessary repairs.

FUEL PUMP NOT WORKING

Sorry, your fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. The fuel tank will have to be pulled down to access the pump. BUT, first check all of the fuses, check for and bad broken wiring to the fuel tank connections.

Fuel pump location

HI. This assembly is modular and it is located inside the fuel tank. It will be required to lower the fuel tank in order to access the modular pump assembly. Here is a diagram that will help you understand the modular assembly.

Is there a fuel pump on a 2001 Ford Taurus or is it handled differently because of fuel injection?

Absolutely your Ford Taurus uses a fuel pump, with fuel injection the fuel pump is an electric fuel pump capable of higher pressures needed for the injectors, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, sometimes the fuel tank has to be removed from the vehicle to service the pump, and some vehicles that I have worked on have an access panel under the rear seat to open up and access the pump that way. Good luck !

Fuel gage is not working properly

you might have a problem with the gas meter located inside the gas tank with the fuel pump.
It is a common problem for most chevy trucks and smaller chevy SUV's.
Before doing this big job! locate the fuel pump relay + the fuse, take them out to restart the fuel pump. this might work.
hope this helps.
