I have nissan versa 2008 my problem that when i leave the car under my home for along time and open the a/c it work will and after 10-20 minutes the compressor stop working and no coldness . The after i stope and leave the car for along time the a/c work again will and after 10-20 minuts it stop again,...... So what is the problem please help me

Timing chain.

It may be a dirty evaporator that is blocking up with ice forming in the gunk. It may also be a faulty thermostat that is connected to the evaporator and controls the ac clutch operation. The evaporator is that bit under the das and the thermostat will be next to it . Have it checked out by an accredited ac specialist as it is not a job for beginners.

Check fluid levels, if they are good, could be a valve solanoids problem (internal trans). Try scanned th module to know other fault codes there.

It's possible under the hood or under the dash

Start by changing the spark plugs. Open the hood at night away from all light with ut running and see if there are any sparking along the plug wires. If so you need new wires too.

2008 nissan versa should still be covered under warranty. take it to the dealer. possibly the anti-drainback valve in the fuel pump is broken and the fuel lines are becoming depresurized when it sits. this will cause the car not to start until the pressure build up.

the deflector flap that move to direct air flow is stuck under the dash.
