First check your ground wire. Second check your main fuse. GL

SOURCE: all dash warning lights came

Hatterasnc,

You're alternator has gone bad and the vehicle was running on battery power. The "clicking" sound is your now dead battery that does not have enough power to turn over the starter. You might also want to check your power steering pump for leak. This is a know problem with early LS400s and will most likey be the cause of the alternator failure. I just dropped $1050.00 to fix the very same promblems you have.

SOURCE: car want start factor security light flashing and

The factory security light will remain on - this is a standard feature indicating the car is dead.
First, unplug the hazard fuze in the engine bay (this will reset the ecu and remove the flashing)

Next, replace the battery with a new one (or one with proper charge) - keep in mind a small battery will not do anything for these cars, the engines require a lot to push them over (it isnt a honda)
*Make sure to clean the positive and negative battery cables from acid

Then just start it up :)

SOURCE: My lexus ES 300 (97) wont start. When I tried to

your battery is dead!! Even if jumped, if the battery is dead celled it will not have sufficient power to crank. Dead celled batteries will hold a charge momentarily then slowly die again. I recommend temporarily swapping a battery from another vehicle to try and start your ES300. This is to make sure it isnt the starter or alternator thats the problem. To test the alternator, use a voltmeter at the battery terminals (w/car started and running) to check voltage should be (13.5-14.5 volts). If you do not have a voltmeter,(old school way) simply start the car, while engine running pull the positive terminal off the battery(make sure NOT to ground the positive terminal). If the vehicle dies, possible alternator or alt circuit failure. Bring it to autozone or advance auto to test for free. Hopefully this helps...please rate...thanks

My Lexus es300 wont drive when put into reverse or drive. Could this be because of transmission/ bad solenoid or could it have something to do with bad ABS sensor?

There are so many things it could be, but I think I would have it towed to a competent shop and check the diagnostics. More info might help you get more DIY help. Running rough... engine diagnostics, transmission not engaging... transmission diagnostics. Electronic diagnostics are your eyes on modern automobile problems. I hope this helps.

2003 lexus es300 won't start... radio lights and windows work. Tried a jump start, still doesnt work...

Are you saying the engine cranks but won't start, or the engine won't crank ?
If the engine does not crank, you would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch as well as the ground connections.

My 2003 Lexus es300 has electrical problems but only on hot days above 90 degrees. When driving the electrical power fades on the dash and sometimes clicks out. When you turn the car off it will not start...

Well it sounds like you are loosing the alternator - could be the alternator itself or a connection in the harness. Things like diodes and relays can stop working in high heat conditions.
I would check the output of the alternator the next time the lights start dimming.

My 2005 lexus es 33o no longer makes a sound when i click the remote to lock or unlock

Some ES models have a knob near the steering wheel that turns the volume of the beeps up or down. Maybe someone turned this down too low.

I am not sure the 2005 has this.

Hi. I have a 1996 Lexus ES300. Last night I had it in park with the hazards on. When I got back in the car and tried to start it, there was what seemed like an electric short and the car wouldn't start....

Check the connections at the battery. Sounds like there will be corrosion. Take off the terminals and clean them with baking soda and water and put them back on tightly.

I suspect a weak battery, but how do I know it's not a bad ALT?

when your car is running disconnect the positive cord from the battery. if the car stays on, than it is your alternator, if not its your battery. also if the car stays on, the head lights go dim if the alternator is malfunctioning
