Windshield wipers wont go off even when car is turned off
SOURCE: can't find fuse box for horn, turning signal and windshield wiper
I looked this up on WikiAnswers. Apparently the 2005 dodge magnum has 2 fuse boxes. One is under the hood on the passenger side and the other is in the trunk, next to the battery, in the spare tire storage well.
SOURCE: windshield wiper fuse blows everytime I turn the ignition on
Try removing the harness connector to the motor, and see if it still blows the fuse, then you've isolated the problem.
SOURCE: Front Windshield wipers do not turn on
better diagnostic with scanner in body control mode there its posible to test wiper relay, motor ectr, its better than be replacing parts,
SOURCE: windshield wiper turns on when car starts, then won't stop
The van is now about 13-14 years old, chances are that the switch has worn to a point that the finite metal particles are shorting it out causing it to be on all the time. Re and clean the switch contacts, you should be good to go. Please let me know how you make out. Good luck..
