When the right blinker comes on and does not flash , make sure the front and rear turn signal lights are lit. Usually a blown front bulb will have a fast flashing type of indication something is wrong. A slow or no flash means the rear turn signal bulb is not lit. Bad bulb, or bad connection to the turn signal socket.

Replace the right front or rear bulb, though it may be coming on at the moment it is probably faulty causing a short in the system. That is USUALLY the problem.

Pull that bulb out and look closely at it, it'll probably have one of the filaments(Tungsten wires) broken and crossed over to the other one causing a short to power and/or the bottom of the bulb has had the 2 lead contacts melt together. In either case the bulb will need to be replaced. If this doesn't fix the problem please let me know so I can look into it further.

98 Subaru legacy makes a screaching sound on occasion but only driving really slow and not turning sounds like its coming from the front left tire as it turns

It may be the brake wear indicator, or semi metallic brake pads will sometimes squeal if the caliper doesn't fully retract.

Windshield sprayer fuse location in a 1996 subaru legacy

Some of your fuses are located under the hood on the driver's side, right behind the battery. Underneath a black cover. The rest are on driver's side in the car, on the far left side, mounted behind a black cover, to the left of where your left leg goes when driving. Your sprayer may not be working if it is clogged up, common problem. Can you hear the sprayer work? I have 1996 outback and just cleaned out all my hoses and now the sprayer works fine.

'99 subaru legacy wagon rear hatch won't unlock

before you pull stuff, go to the back of the car. Instead of pulling the latch (away from the car and towards you) to open the hatch, push the lever in the other direction (towards the car, away from you).

i had this happen to me and read about it online, worked totally fine. It's just stuck towards you and not "sitting" correctly. Hope it works!

I have a 98 subaru legacy outback i just bought, i have replaced both cv joints, and brake pads on the front end. I am getting an intermitent loud knocking in the drive train isolated down to only turning...

It could be the wheel bearing on the left side is going bad. When you turn right the weight shifts to the left driver's side it is then when you might be able to hear it. The faster you turn the more load on the bearing.

92 subaru legacy my hazards just just came on and won't turn off.

That usually happens if the battery goes all the way dead or disconnected & reconnected. If that's the case you'll usually hear a clicking sound under the dash also. it's part of the security system & needs to be reset. You can reset the system by either using the remote if you have one or most have a reset button under the left hand lower side of the driver side dash, turn the ign. on, eng. off & press the button for at least one second.
