SOURCE: Clutch cable just fixed and just started to stick to floor again

Check each end of the cable, there should be a clamp that holds the cable casing in place. If the
clamp became loose, when you step on the peddle
it would pull the cable and case not the clutch fork.
And the result would be, what you have now.
I hope this was of some help.

The cable may need to be replaced or adjusted. Or if it is a hydraulic clutch check the master and slave cylinders for leaks or defects. If you have a cable clutch you will see the cable on the drivers side firewall and you can follow it down to the fork at the transmission.

How do you bleed the clutch on a 1995 dodge stratus

Sounds like the slave cylinder inside bell housing is leaking. Replace both cylinders when fixing. the clutch plate and flywheel should be inspected for wear.

When pressing the clutch it goes all the way to floor and can't change gears. Does it need new clutch or something else.

Usually it is the master cylinder for the clutch. It is located on the firewall directly behind the clutch pedal.

No pressure clutch pedal goes straight to the floor 1988 holden r

If hydraulic actuated mechanism, loss of fluid, defective master cylinder or slave cylinder at the clutch. Missing pin or other part between slave cylinder and clutch arm. Loose or broken slave cylinder mounting. Missing pin or broken part between pedal and master cylinder. If mechanical linkage, look for broken components or missing pins at moving joints. If you tried to shift into gear with engine running, you may have damaged the transmission gears.

Gear change is hard and crunching

Your clutch is most likely worn out, u are over traveling the clutch and causing the hard shift. This is not a fluid problem unless the clutch has allot of free play or goes to the floor..
