Scraping and squeaking when in reverse Now sometimes I press the gas pedal and it won'tmove and then all of a sudden it does
SOURCE: when pressing the gas pedal the engin will make this metal clink
HAVE THE DRIVESHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINTS CHECKED FOR EXCESSIVE WEAR, THEY CAN MAKE THIS TYPE OF NOISE.
SOURCE: cluncking noise when in reverse gear, also squeaking from breaks when not pressed
aftermarket brake and rotors ,also calipers that temporarly stick causes this squeking problem, replace if worn and use special lubrication for these parts including the shims
SOURCE: Steady squeaking noise after taking foot off accelerator
sounds like you have a pad rubbing on a disk/rotor, if you jolt the brakes does the noise go away? if so it's probably a pad loose
SOURCE: a clunk noise comes from the rear underside of the differential.
have the drive shaft U-joints checked for excessive wear. if they are ok the differential carrier bearings are worn and allowing to much gear backlash.
Testimonial: "Thank you for that, I did lift it up and discover that it was the U-joint. Smooth rides ahead. Thanks"
