Trying to open light to change head light bulb

If you just need to change the headlamp bulb, your owners manual has that info. If you don't have an owners manual go to my.gm.com

Type in year--make--model, hit go, click on owners manual/guide, click on pdf file.

If you want to remove headlamp assembly, let me know and I'll post the procedure. I wasn't sure if you just needed to remove bulb or the whole lamp assembly? Don't touch the new bulb with bare hands/fingers, use gloves.

Have a look at the owners manual, it describe how to replace bulbs.

most operators manuals show how to change the major bulbs
no tall, just the ones for safety. did you read your oper. guide.
if its not there its in the FSM or at all data.com

side bulbs, not exactly sure what you mean there.
my 04, page 5-51 in the op. guide says, remove the 2 lens screws
and and whole assy, pulls free and rear has socket and twist it and bam. its out.
but they move them to the Headlight assembly
so in that case, you pretend its a head light access.

i goggle for you and hit 1 was.
Your owner manual will have some instructions.

-Open the hood

-From the engine compartment, remove the black rubber boot
the boot , is the access port, read the manuals ? they cover this.
-loosen the little wire clip (or parts to access HL or side light)

-remove the bulb and unplug it

-Plug in the new bulb and install the new one in reverse. The new light bulb will only fit one way

there is an access cover in the trunk.Open that and just pull the bulb fixture out replace the bulb and place back in the hole.

Check your owner's manual. To replace headlight bulbs you open the hood and then behind the headlights there is a piece that either twists off or pops off. It will have the headlight wires running thru or under it. Pop or twist this off and you should see the back of the headlight bulb. Pull the bulb out. Slide the old bulb off the connector and being carefull not to touch the glass part of the new bulb (use a clean rag to hold it) as it will hasten the new bulb in burning out if you get grease or oil from your hand on it, stick the new bulb into the connector and repeat the process to install

could be head light relay or bad head light switch.

To replace the headlamp, turn signal, or parking lamp bulb:This information should be in your owner's manual.
Turn the wheel to access the wheel well.

1. Remove the fasteners located on the wheel liner. To access the headlamp and the turn signal/parking lamp bulbs.
2. Reach in behind the wheel well liner and locate the bulb to be changed.
3. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it straight out of the lamp assembly.
4. Pull the old bulb straight out of the bulb socket.
5. Push the new bulb straight into the bulb socket until it clicks.
6. Push the bulb socket straight into the lamp assembly and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
7. Reinstall the wheel well liner using fasteners.

There are 2 pins and 2 bolts that hold in the head lamp. Remove the head lamp to access the signal bulb. Good Luck

open the hood and look at the back of the light all you change is the bulb... you push in on the bulb and twist take it out and then take to the auto part store and they will give you the right one.. PS most auto part stores will take your old one out for you and put new one in

Right behind the light there should be 2 clips pull up on those and the headlight will come out to change the bulb
