THE FUEL FILTER AND REGULATOR ARE BOTH LOCATED ON THE PUMP WHICH REQUIRE THE FUEL TANK TO BE REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER ONLY RECOMMENDS REPLACEMENT OF THEM IF THERE IS CONTAMINATION TO THE FUEL. HOPE THIS HELPS. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. The fuel filter is under the car,at least my 93 intrepid is. not sure which side of gas tank. i think its on the driver side against the frame rail.

The fuel filter is located in the fuel line on the inside of the left frame rail, just ahead of the crossmember.

The fuel filter for 93 to 99 dodge neon is inside the gas tank. it is part of the fuel pump. to replace it you have to replace the whole thing. the part is beween $280 and $340 depending whether you have a metal or plastic fuel tank. i had this same thing a week ago with my 97 neon.

did they change the fuel filter at the same time?a bad filter will cause the fuel pump to overwork and can cause premature failure.you may also have a fuel pump relay going bad,it is probably located in a fuse/relay box under the hood.

Where is fuel filter located on 93 rodeo
I have a 94 Rodeo and am thinking its the same as your 93. The fuel filter is located underneath the rear passenger side frame rail. It is very easy to get to. All you need is a 10mm socket/wrench and pliers for the clamps.
