I have a 98 Park Avenue and all of a sudden it started blowing alot of white smoke and the steering wheel was real hard to turn. Is that the power steering hose gone out?

Troubleshooting for a 1998 park avenue

White smoke usually means water in the cylinders. I would say you have blown head gasket or intake manifold gasket. Could be something cracked or something I don't know about. Unless it is something I don't know about will not be simple or cheap to fix.

Car smokes in front when started then goes away

Blown head gaskets cause this symptom.
Also, oil leakage on to the hot parts of your engine can cause this problem.

The smoke can be either antifreeze or oil that accumulated in a plenum or low spot that gets hot when you start your engine.

Don't worry about removing the airbag itself. Unscrew it lift it up unplug it and take it away. If you are afraid of activating the airbag then removing it won't. The airbag is activated by a power surge this is only sent to the airbag on impact.

Removing water pump 98 buick park avenue

You need to poke a small extension with a 13mm socket through the holes in the power steering pulley, undo it, and slide it back.

Power steering noise

Sounds to me that the power steering belt is loose. If it is a 2.4 litre engine it has two serpentine belts. You should replace the belts especially if it was smoking.
