Do not know what the issue is,but you have an ABS
Braking System problem
Why did you wait to have it diagnosed & repaired, if necessary?
I would at least have a shop check that module for codes & let
them weigh in
Whenever you get any light on your dash, you check for codes within 24 hours & then have a problems diagnosed & repaired,
within a week or less or you park it & don't use it.
Whenever that ESP/ESC warning light comes on, there is a diagnostic code set (DTC). This code tells the technician which component in the system CAUSED the ESP/ESC control module to turn ON the warning light!
Did the technicians SCAN for any DTC's? Since the vehicle is a 2009, the service department is supposed to have Hyundai's GDS (Global Diagnostic System) available to do this. If they don't have this equipment, find a service department that DOES!
Likley there is a misfire in one of the cylinders. Usually due to worn out sparkplugs or wires. A check by the local mechanic, using his/her computor will pinpoint the problem. Or go to your local auto supply store & purchase the little computor to connect to your car computor (under dash at steering wheel). This will allow you to turn off the light. Cost is about $170.00 (Can.)
Hope this helps!

Your question is kind of jumbled, but I believe I had a similar problem. The ESC would not function properly and the button on the dash would not work sometimes. I took it to the dealership and they had to replace a speed sensor on one of my tires. That fixed the issue and maybe it would also fix yours. Hope this helps.
