I am trying to change the water pump and 1 bolt will not clear the idler pulley. I can't get the idler pulley off because it is blocked by the motor mount. I removed the studs, nuts, and bolts from the motor mount bracket but the motor mount will not slide out of the bracket because it hits below on the crank pulley. I lowered the motor with the jack but it won't go low enough for the studs to clear the bracket. I am stumped, have no clue. Any help?
If thats got the 3800 or 3100 in it your taking out the wrong bolts!!!!!!!
your trying too remove the whole housing
you dont need too do that !!!
take off the 4- 10 mm bolts on the waterpump pully, then remove the bolts behind it i belive that there are 8 of them that takes the pump from the housing!!
