SOURCE: 2007nissan muranoS is making clicking

Check the battery voltage your battery may be dead, or the starter is no good. Check for power and ground at the starter and check the signal wire to make sure you have 12 volts when cranking. If all checks out good then the starter is no good.

My horn went out on my 06 Nissan Murano. I'm

The horn doesn't use a fuse, instead it used a relay which is the large square black box you see in your fuse box. There should be one for your horn, blower motor (the blower that pushes the heat out the vents in your car) and a few other things.

Easiest way to see if it has gone bad is to switch the horn and blower motor relay and then try and use the horn and blower motor. If the horn works and the blower motor doesn't then you have a bad relay. You can go to any auto parts store and they will have them in stock.

Access location of front heater blower motor

It located behind the dash on the Passenger side.
And yes you can easily do this yourself saving you alot of money! Have you first checked the Front Blower Motor Relay located in the IPM Relay and Fuse Box located inside the engine compartment? Remove the cover. The location identification is located on the back (inside) side of the Cover. You can switch-out a similiar size and shape Relay and check the operation. If the Blower now works then the Relay was bad and needs to be replaced. The Motor and Resistor cost alot more money than the Relay.
Before we do this: What is the Motor doing? Nothing? OR DOES IT WORK ON HIGH ONLY? If the Motor works on High only then it is not the Motor but the Blower (Fan) Motor Resistor. This is located near the Motor. It is identified by 3 to 4 wires going into it. Remove the two (2) retaining nuts/metal screws and remove. Disconnect the wiring connection and replace. I don't want you to replace the Motor and find out you wasted your money when it was the Resistor.
It could be also both the Motor and the Resistor.
Direction to remove/replace the Blower Motor:
1. Disconnect the Negative cable from the Battery and wait two minutes. This is to de-energize the Air Bag System which you will be working near.
2. Remove the Glovebox.
3. Remove the four (4) hex screws holding on the Blower Motor Cover.
4. Remove the three (3) nuts/screws holding in the Blower Motor. Make sure you support the Motor, as it will drop down.
5. Disconnect the electrical connection.
Installation is the reverse of the above.
Check operations before putting the Glove Box Back on.

Have an '03 murano, the fuel door will not open intermittantly, bought a fuel door relay but can not find where it is located.

Hello bpowell_62...The fuel door release relay for you Murano is located next to the fuse circuit box...The Nissan part number for the relay is: 25230-79916...You might try holding the release button down for 10-15 seconds a few times to see if it will release. If you can hear the sound of the actuator motor running then the relay is working, The actuator may be defective or the locking mechanisim may be out of adjustment.... the actuator part number is CA000-ACTUA
Good luck...i hope this helps, please rate me a fixya

Behind the vacuum heater controls in the dash, they lead to a relay mounted there. That was the relay that was bad on my Dodge. It was a digital readout one.
