You need a flat screw driver to take off the cover inside, then there's a not in there size 10 or 8 mm you just need a wrench for that size that's all...

you need to remove the trim pannel parallel to the mirror on the inside of the vehicle, normally triangle shaped, from there there will be 3-4 nuts or bolts you need to remove, once that is done the mirror will be free to be removed.
Your going to have to remove the inside door panel to get to the three bolts that hold the out side mirror assembly. Once you have the door panel off you'll see the three bolts that hold the mirror assembly, just un-bolt and un-clip the wire harness to the electric/heated mirror. To install the new mirror assembly, just do everything in reveres. Go to Auto Zone and by extra door panel clips, there is a good chance of breaking some of the retainer clips and Auto Zone will have the step by step instructions to replacing the mirror assembly and the removal to the door panel. the door panel near the mirror must be removed if not the entire door panel inside u will find 3 nuts to remove to get the old mirror off. hope this helps please rate me
had to install a driver side non folding mirror, fairly simply to say the least. There's a cover on the interior of the door, near the window, remove the cover, remove the 3 screws, need i believe a 10mm socket. If a power window, unhook the circuit. Replace new mirror.
