SOURCE: i have a 2002 lincoln

It's likely the brakelight switch which would be located above the brake pedal. May be loose, have a loose / corroded connection or it may have burned contacts.

More info, let me know.

SOURCE: my toneau cover on my

Hello, If you are talking about a hard cover, what you need to do is open the tailgate and look at the underside of the cover. You should see some contact pads on top of threaded shafts. These contact pads need to be adjusted to allow for the locking mechanism to work.

The lid must go down far enough for the lock cables(rods) to expand and secure the lid. You may need some Torx or Allen-headed sockets to turn the parts. With the tailgate open, you can see what needs to be done. You might want to check any Bed mounts you can see as they may have loosened up.

The side locks of the Bed require just the right amount of length in the Horizontal lock rods. If they are too long, you will never get the lid open with the handle once you close it. I hope my Solution is very helpful to you.

Rear hatch won't stay up

If your rear hatch will not stay up then chances are shocks that are used to hold up the hatch are shot. If you replace the shocks that should solve the problem. I hope this helps you out.

My Lincoln Blackwood's ABS comes on from time to time, but not all the time. I was told by the dealership after a $100 dianosis charge that it would cost $2600 to repair. Does not seem to be all above...

Lincoln blackwood climate control

have had my drive seat fixed 3 times and is being repair as we speak for the fourth. Passenger side I had repaired once and it is out now also. I love my Navie, but the seat accessories are junk. I too, have a 2000. If you can bear with me for about a week, I will know why these are not working and will be able to follow up with you about yours first hand instead of guessing. Fair enough?
